Alright, fellow Kaji stalkers- I mean, Kajipedias would have known this but, the person “around Kaji’s age” in this chapter was Yonaga Tsubasa. I’m pretty sure they’ll reveal it soon but I just can’t get over the mole under his mouth (´-ω-`) And another thing that wasn’t mentioned in the book was that Kaji’s teacher from the voice acting academy is Suzuki Reiko, Kaji mentioned this in Fukigen na Mononokean’s radio during the episode when they discuss about her character in Episode 6.
There IS going to be more to the Double… Waiter Incident (that’s a bad title but I got the meaning across when I used this with aa so it’s all good). So please stay tuned for that!!

Thank you so much for translating! I’m prepared for a lot of obstacles and failures because I’ve heard it really wasn’t easy for him (or anyone really), he even mentioned buying a book about edible wild plants before because he was so poor ;_;
I’m hoping Sakurai-san who helped him a lot during those times will make his appearance! Also any other tidbits about the manga I’ve missed (like who the actual characters are) are very appreciated, I can’t always get the references.

Thank you so much!!! I’ve watched anime for more than 10 years now. Since I was like around 8-9 (the Japanese dubbed ones) and from time to time I’ll be like “oh I heard his/her voice somewhere before” and be like oh well. On to the next ep/anime, then suddenly I’ll just be so shook when those seiyuus I heard as girl a or boy a turns out to be some super talented and has like A LOT of main characters roles and are now sought after as a voice actor. I mean seriously i read how the earnings of a seiyuu is pretty harsh and that even if you do get famous as times goes by with the whole ranking there’s a chance that you won’t get casted anymore and that the competition is so fierce and it’s really rare to see someone remains in being the cream of the crop. Kaji Yuki is one of my all time favorite seiyuus and just aaaaaah. I’m so happy that you have been translating this >.< thaaaank you 🙌🙇🏻♀️✨
