Be it the Kumite or Kata, all of them looked extremely impressive.
男子は猛々しく、女子は凛々しい。
The men were valiant; and the women gallant.
選手の皆さんの眼から、生命のエネルギーを感じました。
I could feel the life energy from the players’ eyes.
